Dumbarton Bridge via SF Bay Trail. Get to know this 3.4-mile out-and-back trail near East Palo Alto, California. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 59 min to complete. This is a popular trail for road biking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
The Dumbarton Bridge Bike Path is a concrete pathway separated from bridge traffic by a low concrete barrier. The path allows both bikers and hikers to access the East Bay from the lower peninsula and vice versa. The pathway which is only accessible from the eastbound side is somewhat narrow and there are no line dividers either.
