Having acquired something of an enfant terrible reputation early on in his career, Ozon now enjoys a strong cult following and many of his films have achieved critical acclaim both in France and abroad. The oldest of four children, François Ozon was born in Paris on 15th November 1967. His father was a biologist, his mother a French teacher.
