Biography. A brilliant, boyish actor discovered when working as a gofer at Biograph in 1907, Harron began as a bit-player in such films as "Dr. Skinnum" (his first, 1907) and "Bobbie's Kodak" (1908). But it took director D.W. Griffith to make a star out of him.
Robert Emmett Harron (April 12, 1893 – September 5, 1920) was an American motion picture actor of the early silent film era. Although he acted in over 200 films, he is possibly best recalled for his roles in the D.W. Griffith directed films The Birth of a Nation (1915) and Intolerance (1916).
