Doctor Who. On the 25th June 1966 the British television viewing public got their first glimpse of Polly and Ben in episode 1 of Doctor Who – The War Machines. Anneke Wills and Michael Craze were originally cast in their roles back in May 1966 and went on to star in nine stories alongside William Hartnell and then Patrick Troughton.
In den 1970er Jahren beendete Wills ihre Schauspielkarriere, um ihre Kinder groß zu ziehen. Seit den 2000er Jahren spricht Anneke Wills Polly erneut in den Big Finish Hörspielen von Doctor Who.
