IMPERIAL SERVICE COLLEGE. Below we list of all those from the Imperial Service College who were killed in action or died from wounds on Active Service in the Great War of 1914-18 and the Second World War, 1939-45. The fallen are listed alphabetically by surname in the year of their death. Where known, the month of death is also included.
Haileybury was established in 1862 on the site of the former East India College, whose quadrangle – “the Quad” – it still occupies today. In 1942, the School merged with the Imperial Service College (which itself had merged with the United Services College in 1906) to become Haileybury and Imperial Service College.

He noted that the Imperial Service College had been founded “for the purpose of providing a public school education for the Sons of Officers of limited means belonging to the Navy, Army, and Higher Civil Services.” In 1942, the school merged with Haileybury to form Haileybury and Imperial Service College.
Haileybury and Imperial Service College is an independent school near Hertford in England. Originally a boys' public school, it is now co-educational, enrolling pupils at 11+, 13+ and 16+ stages of education.
