Anna Phoebe McElligott is a London-based violinist, composer, and broadcaster who performs in musical genres including contemporary classical, rock, folk, jazz, Celtic, and Middle Eastern music.
Anna explains: “The original Sea Souls album was written and recorded in 2020 – a very private form of catharsis as we entered a new and unknown world. It was never intended to be performed live. This new album reflects the opening up of the world, as the pieces are given new life through the interaction and performance of live musicians in a room together.
ANNA PHOEBE is a violinist and composer working on cross-genre solo and collaborative projects. Her most recent albums Sea Souls and Sea Souls (live) have received widespread radio support—including from BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 3, and Scala Radio—and a bespoke show at the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room.
