10 de nov. de 2023 · As well as being related to Queen Victoria, her mother, Lady Brigid Guinness, is the daughter of Rupert Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh, known for having launched the ‘Guinness World Records’. Her parents met during the Second World War, when Lady Brigid was working as a nursing assistant and her future husband was injured in a tractor accident.
Ness’ son went on to marry Lady Brigid Guinness, who had formerly been married to Prince Frederick of Prussia, grandson of Kaiser Wilhelm II. His daughter, Marguerite, married Heinz Friedrich Eberhard, Baron von Westenholz. The School has been in touch with their son, Ness’ grandson, who kindly provided us with a photograph of his grandfather.

8 de mar. de 1995 · Lady Brigid Katherine Rachel Guinness was the youngest daughter of Rupert Edward Cecil Lee Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh, and his wife, Lady Gwendolen Florence Mary Onslow. She was married at Little Hadham on 30 Jul 1945 to Prinz Friedrich von Preussen, with whom she had issue three sons and two daughters.
