Jenny Laura Marx, née le 26 septembre 1845 à Bruxelles ( Belgique ), et morte le 25 novembre 1911 à Draveil ( France) 1, est une militante socialiste. Deuxième fille de Karl Marx et de Jenny von Westphalen, elle est l'épouse de Paul Lafargue. Le couple va consacrer sa vie à la vulgarisation et à la diffusion de la pensée marxiste en France.
Laura Marx werd geboren in Brussel en verhuisde met haar ouders naar Frankrijk, toen Koninkrijk Pruisen, voordat het gezin zich vanaf juni 1849 in Londen vestigde. Paul Lafargue, geboren in Santiago De Cuba, was een jonge Franse socialist die in 1866 naar Londen kwam om te werken voor de Eerste Internationale .
Laura Marx.
