27 de jun. de 2020 · The predecessor of Changsha Foreign Language School (长沙外国语学校, website) was the 23rd Middle School of Changsha City founded in 1963. It was renamed Changsha Foreign Language School in 1996. It is the first state-owned public institution in Hunan Province and the only state-owned public institution in Changsha City.
At present, it has a total of 14 classes from primary school to middle school. Under the premise of strictly implementing the national curriculum, it integrates the modern international educational and teaching concepts and curriculum framework, supplemented by colorful special courses and activities, adopts a small class size and bilingual teaching.
Changsha is the capital of Hunan province in south-central China. While considered a medium-sized city by Chinese standards, its metropolitan population is about six million. Located on the Beijing-Guangzhou train line about 200 miles south of Wuhan, Changsha is a major agricultural center and the busiest port on the Xiang River.
