映画本作の続編的な内容のゲームである『Jurassic Park: Trespasser』では映画と小説に登場した集落に基づいたBurroughs（バローズ）と言う名のインジェン社の従業員が暮らしていた町が登場するが、映画と小説に登場した集落とは建物などが違う為、別である。

"The Lost World: Jurassic Park" is based on the novel by Michael Crichton, but that would only be part of the novel "The Lost World" because most of it ends up in "Jurassic Park III." In a lot of ways this film is actually closer to Arthur Conan Doyle's version of "The Lost World," where humans enter a prehistoric world, whilce Crichton's purpose was to look at the dark side of Walt Disney.
