We trust that Queen Philippa of Hainualt – in whose honour The Queen’s College was founded – would approve.

Queen's College, the oldest Government secondary school in Hong Kong, has a glorious history of almost 160 years. Founded in 1862 by the British Colonial Government as an Anglo-Chinese Secondary School, its primary purpose has not changed throughout history: to educate brilliant boys for Hong Kong and China and to strengthen the country's youth.

In Spring 2017 the New Library, situated underneath the Provost’s Garden, was opened, providing a light-filled space befitting the 21st century. We are responsive to student requirements and our large and constantly changing lending collection of 50,000 books reflects this. Students also have access to a diverse range of electronic resources.
