Biography. Henry William Wilberforce was born in Clapham, Surrey on 22 September 1807 [1]. He was the son of William Wilberforce and Barbara Ann Spooner . He studied classics and mathematics at Oriel College, Oxford. He received his BA in 1830 and his MA in 1833.
