Research in action. The Cancer Clinical Trials Group, based at Queen’s, plays a critical role in the global fight against cancer. Since 1980, the network of 2,100 Canadian investigators has supported more than 600 trials involving over 100,000 patients from 40 countries on six continents.

6 de fev. de 2013 · Queen's University, Kingston, Ont, is one of Canada's oldest degree-granting institutions. It was established as Queen's College (in honour of Queen Victoria) in 1841, by the PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH of Canada in association with the Church of Scotland. Classes began on 7 March 1842 in a rented building with two professors and 10 students.
