  4. As her execution of these two elderly characters simply did not crossover to Miss Jane Pittman. So, I must say…I am partial to the original version of “The Trip to Bountiful” with the late-great Geraldine Page—as well as the entire cast. Nonetheless, I still bought the movie because I am an earnest fan.
