22 de set. de 2023 · For Goldfinger, the third of Sean Connery’s James Bond films, Polish-Canadian actor Cec Linder was cast as Felix Leiter. The character appears at the beginning of the film to brief Bond on his newest assignment. Linder plays Felix Leiter as an older man, closer to Bond’s uncle than his counterpart.
Cec Linder: 1964. When the role of Leiter was brought back for the third Bond film, Goldfinger, in 1964, Lord was again approached to play Leiter; according to screenwriter Richard Maibaum, Lord demanded co-star billing with Connery, a bigger role and more money to reprise the role.

In the 1950s and 1960s he worked extensively in the United Kingdom, often playing American characters in various films and television programmes. In film, he is probably best remembered for his role as James Bond's CIA counterpart Felix Leiter in Goldfinger (1964).
