One of the greatest writers of our time, Toni Morrison was a prolific novelist, essayist, and editor who wrote 11 novels and several essays. TONI MORRISON nasceu em 1931, em Ohio, nos Estados Unidos. Formada em letras pela Howard University, estreou como romancista em 1970, com O olho mais azul. Em 1975, foi indicada para o National Book Award com Sula (1973), e dois anos depois venceu o National Book Critics Circle Award com Song of Solomon (1975).
