Arriving by car: There is no parking on-site at King’s College, but there are a number of car parks close by that will put you within easy walking distance of the college and its chapel.
Rent. Should you wish to live in College accommodation, King's is able to guarantee a room to all graduate students for at least one year. The rent for College rooms, including heating and electricity, ranges from £1,775.70 to £2,715.34 per quarter, depending on the room.
The arms were officially granted on January 1, 1449. The black field signifies that the college shall last for ages to come; the roses indicate that it shall bring forth flowers redolent of every kind of learning to the honour of God and the Blessed Virgin; while the chief declares its royal foundation. Undergraduate Study. Each year, King's College admits between 130-135 undergraduates from a range of all the subjects offered at the University of Cambridge except Education, Land Economy and Veterinary Medicine. Overall, we are a medium-sized College housing around 430 undergraduates across all years.
