JUSTICE PEGGY A. QUINCE We are pleased to honor the accomplishments and life of one of Phi Alpha Delta’s first African American, woman initiates – Retired Justice Peggy A. Quince. Justice Quince joined Phi Alpha Delta’s Cardozo Chapter of The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law on November 1, 1972.

Justice Quince graduated in 1970 from Howard University with a B.S. Degree in Zoology; she received her J.D. Degree from the Catholic University of America in 1975. She practiced law in Virginia and Florida from 1975 to 1980, when she began her 13- year tenure in the criminal division of the Florida Attorney General’s office.
Peggy Ann Quince (born January 3, 1948) is a former justice of the Supreme Court of Florida, having previously served as chief justice from July 1, 2008, until June 30, 2010.
