2 de jun. de 2022 · The UK is having a four-day bank holiday weekend at the beginning of June, for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. It marks the Queen's 70th year as monarch, and starts on Thursday 2 June.
The Platinum Jubilee weekend will provide an opportunity for the nation to emerge re-energised, as we celebrate The Queen’s lifelong dedication to the country and Commonwealth. Sir Michael Morpurgo, author of War Horse, has written a faerie story titled There once is a Queen, which Pageant Master Adrian Evans LVO is bringing to life.

21 de jul. de 2022 · In celebration of The Queen's historic Platinum Jubilee in 2022, The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace will feature a display looking at The Queen's Accession to the throne in February 1952. On display will be examples from the remarkable series of portraits taken by Dorothy Wilding, that formed the basis of The Queen's image on stamps and in British embassies across the world until 1971.

The emblem will be used for all official merchandise commemorating The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and across digital and social media. The emblem was designed by 19 year old graphic design student Edward Roberts, from Nottinghamshire.
