Eton College is a full boarding school for boys with 1,344 pupils, situated next to the historic town of Windsor, Berkshire. It was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI. The school’s ethos is to take talented pupils with character and give them the skills to progress through life as happy, successful and socially responsible adults.

Jan. 2020. Nice walk from Windsor across the pedestrianised bridge and up Eton High Street (lots of small interesting shops plus cafes, restaurants and pubs). Unfortunately the College was closed to the public with several signs up - so they definitely don't want you to go in! Perhaps it's only open at certain times but it's not clear.
