This is the 18 th year that QS has published its World University Rankings. They are based on six indicators and were compiled by considering more than 1,300 universities. In this latest ranking, Exeter’s rank improved in four of the six indicators – academic reputation, citations per faculty, international faculty and international students.
In the 2015/16 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Exeter placed 93rd. Exeter was ranked 34th on the annual list of the top 500 major universities worldwide in the Leiden Rankings (2015). In the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2020 Subject Rankings, Exeter University ranked 11th in the world for public administration.
