Ray Bradbury (født 22. august 1920 i Waukegan, Illinois, død 5. juni 2012) var en amerikansk science-fiction - forfatter. Bradburys mor, Ester Maria Moberg, var fra Dalarna i Sverige. Som barn flyttede han flere gange, og har siden 1934 boet i Los Angeles .

Fahrenheit 451 é um romance distópico de ficção científica soft, escrito por Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) e publicado pela primeira vez em 1953. O conceito inicial do livro começou em 1947 com o conto "Bright Phoenix" (que só seria publicado na revista The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction em 1963 ). [ 1]
