Arthur Percival (26 de dezembro de 1887 — 31 de janeiro de 1966) foi um general britânico, comandante das forças armadas da Comunidade Britânica na Malásia, Sudeste Asiático, quando da rendição de Singapura ao exército invasor japonês em fevereiro de 1942.
Arthur Percival. Arthur Percival was a veteran of WW1, volunteered in the British Army at the age of 27. At the rank of first lieutenant, he participated in the Battle of the Somme with the Bedfordshire Regiment, and earned the Military Cross award. At the onset of WW2, he was evacuated from Dunkerque, France as the commander of the 44th Division.
Arthur Percival was a resident of Faversham from 1956 to his death in 2014. He was fascinated by the town and it's history.
