Four years after his departure from Valve, writer Chet Faliszek unveiled his new studio's first game at Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest event today. Titled Anacrusis, it is a four player co-op shooter with a strong retro future aesthetic. It bears a particular resemblance to Left 4 Dead, which Faliszek also worked on.

Chet Faliszek (former TF2 writer) misses TF2. Let him cook. LET HIM COOK. Faliszek is pretty famous, of course: you may know him for his work on Portal 1 and 2, or L4D 1 and 2, or even Old Man Murray. Apparently he cowrote most of the TF2 item descriptions and update text with Jay Pinkerton .
