Walter Richard Sickert (31 de mayo de 1860, Múnich, Alemania – 22 de enero de 1942, Bath, Inglaterra) fue un pintor impresionista inglés que también vivió en Francia. Es considerado uno de los artistas más importantes de Inglaterra, y aunque no era inglés, ha sido relacionado con la figura de Jack el Destripador.

21 de out. de 2021 · Walter Sickert’s Later Life And The Start Of The Ripper Rumors. In 1920, Walter Sickert’s wife died. She was a student of his who was 18 years younger than him. Her death took a toll on him, with his behavior becoming progressively more erratic. In 1926, his mother died, which allegedly sent him into a full-on depression.
