20 de jul. de 2023 · On Deadly Ground doet daar niets aan af. Erg veel actie zit er niet in, maar de film verveelt nergens. Sla alleen wel de laatste tien minuten over. Steven heeft in de eindspeech heus wel gelijk, maar dit is daar niet het juiste podium voor. Steven als regisseur viel me niet tegen. On Deadly Ground is een degelijke actieprent.
『沈黙の要塞』（ちんもくのようさい、On Deadly Ground）は、1994年のアメリカ映画。1992年公開の『沈黙の戦艦』との繋がりはないが、邦題が似ていることから日本公開時は「沈黙シリーズ第2弾」と謳われていた。
An oil-rig firefighter opposes an ecologically unsound scheme proposed by his sometime employer. When he learns that the unscrupulous president of Aegis Oil intends to commence drilling on native Inuit land in Alaska, the coolly efficient troubleshooter joins forces with local people to block the plans.
After threatening to expose a company for unsafe drilling practices, an oil worker is dumped and abandoned in the wilderness to die. But he is rescued by a tribe of natives who see him as their legendary figure, the Rainbow Warrior.
