A animação é excelente, sendo o ponto alto do filme. Os animais, mesmo falando e agindo como humanos, tem uma modelagem muito fiel aos bichos de verdade, fazendo com que tudo pareça muito natural. Obviamente, cada personagem se destaca em algumas características, mas a diferença fica mais nas raças do que na personalidade em si.
