The Sea Serpent seems to be a goofy ’50s sci-fi flick made twenty-five years too late. As you would expect, the monster is basically terrible. There’s what looks like a sock puppet for the medium shots of it attacks, a full-length model for when it is cruising on the surface, and a big head which we usually see after it’s grabbed someone.
