27 de dez. de 2007 · LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Longtime Los Angeles sportscaster Stu Nahan, also familiar to movie fans for his appearances in the series of "Rocky" films, died Wednesday. He was 81. His daughter, Kathy Derington, said Nahan was surrounded by family when he passed away at his home in Studio City.
Stu Nahan (June 23, 1926 – December 26, 2007) was a Canadian American sportscaster best known for his television broadcasting career in Los Angeles from the 1950s through the 1990s. A competing station, WPHL-TV, Channel 17 had a huge package of Big Five broadcasts so Channel 48 could only carry the ones that were not part of the package.
