7 de jan. de 2024 · Rosalind Margaret Clarissa Hicks (nee Christie; 5 August 1919 – 28 October 2004) was the only child of author Agatha Christie and her first husband Archibald Christie. After Christie's death in 1976, she worked to maintain and strengthen the reputation of her mother as a literary figure, and to protect the integrity of her works.
In about 1959 she transferred her 278-acre home, Greenway Estate, to her daughter, Rosalind Hicks. In 1968, when Christie was almost 80, she sold a 51% stake in Agatha Christie Limited (and the works it owned) to Booker Books (better known as Booker Author's Division), which by 1977 had increased its stake to 64%.
