Clash by Night is a really well written and directed Drama/Noir with an excellent cast who all give wonderful and truthful performances. Barbara Stanwyck, Paul Dougglas and Robert Ryan are all stellar and I was also particular fond of a young pre-fame Marilyn Monroe before she got typecast.…

Clash by Nightbrilliantly tells how some lonely folks break out from their shadowy existence, as if that darkness was a prison where survival at any cost is the name of the game.
