Good Morning Vietnam tells the story of disc jockey Adrian Cronauer, assigned to Saigon during the Vietnam War to present a radio broadcast for American troops. His irreverent and nonconformist style immediately appeals to the soldiers, but at the same time causes him serious problems with his superiors, who do not appreciate his fierce satire of the U.S. military and government.
