On Dec. 4, 1956, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins gathered for one night to play and sing; little did they know they were also making music history. A reporter who was there wrote, ‘This quartet could sell a million.’ Consequently, they were dubbed the Million Dollar Quartet.
Made in Japan. Packaged with obi and 40-page booklet with Japanese liner notes and lyrics to the songs and dialogue in English and Japanese. The back cover of the booklet reads "Elvis Presley with Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins" but everywhere else (front cover and spine, both sides) it simply credits the release to Elvis Presley.
