An outstanding sounding 45 from Prince. If like me, most of your collection are 33 LPs, it's always fun to hear the sound quality difference from a 45. Batdance is groovy and dancy, punchy and fresh (when it was released). I can do without the movie screams, but that's about it. The B side tune, 200 Balloons is also quite good. No schlock there.

"200 Balloons" hands down. "Batdance" is lame as fuck. I think you and I are two of about 14 Orgers who thinks Batdance is just out and out embarrassing. I think the movie samples and "Batdaaaa-aaaance" chorus are lame (always have). But I dig the music, the different sections and tempos used.
