To try to sell more of this CD to the casual music fan. A couple of years ago, 3/4 of this album was released as "bonus cuts" on Share the Land & Canned Wheat. They sound much better on these, so what you do is make your own "The Way They Were" using the bonus-cuts first and filling in whats left over with whats on this CD.

18 de jun. de 2020 · The Guess Who is a rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba that was one of the first Canadian groups to establish a major successful following both in their own country as well as abroad. In their late 60s and early 70s heyday, the guys took influence from late period British invasion bands as well as stuck alongside them on the charts.
They were most successful from 1969 to 1975, under the leadership of singer/keyboardist Burton Cummings. During that period they released eleven studio albums, all of which reached the charts in Canada and the United States; their 1970 album American Woman reached no. 1 in Canada and no. 9 in the United States, and five other albums reached the top ten in Canada.
A Lost Gem! Real fans of The Guess Who knew about the existance of this material years before it finally surfaced in the summer of 1976.
