Like previous volumes, Under the Covers, Vol.3 finds the blend of Hoffs and Sweet to be potent, and the success of the album is dependent on their choice of tunes. Vol.1 was solid, but a few of the choices were too obvious, while Vol.2 was a bit more variable, with some numbers being unexpectedly excellent.
