Charlotte Grenville, wife of Sir Watkin Williams Wynn, and her children depicts the second wife of Sir Watkin Williams-Wynn, whom he married in December 1771. She had six surviving children and is here presumably accompanied by her three eldest: Watkin (b. 1772), Fanny (b. 1773) and Charles (b. 1775).
