In 2006 the two schools merged, with Heathfield incorporating St. Mary’s Wantage onto the Ascot site resulting in a combined school drawing on the outstanding heritage and ethos of both.

St Helen’s School is founded in Abingdon by the Community of St Mary the Virgin (CSMV); the school is attended by ten girls and one boy ranging in age from 4–17. 1906.

  7. 14 de mar. de 2014 · This proved unsatisfactory and collapsed with in a year. Their work, which included a Middle School, was undertaken by St. Mary's Sisters and others. In 1853 a Mrs, Trevelyan came to Wantage. She built a house to accommodate her own Industrial School and the local girl pupil-teachers and mistresses, requesting the Sisters to take charge.
