Sedan 1844 har vi utbildat en mängd olika yrkesgrupper inom dessa fält samt bild- och slöjdlärare. Vi bedriver både konstnärlig och vetenskaplig utbildning/forskning och har idag cirka 900 studenter och 200 anställda.
Konstfack is the largest university college of arts, crafts and design in Sweden. Each year almost 1000 students are enrolled in Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, Doctoral Programme, Teacher Education programmes and Professional courses.Konstfack is a university college with an international character.
Historia. Konstfack ha tenido varios nombres diferentes desde que fue fundada en 1844. Su fundador fue el etnólogo y artista Nils Månsson Mandelgren, y la universidad fue registrada como escuela de arte a tiempo parcial para artesanos, bajo el nombre de "Söndags-Rit-skola för Handtverkare" ("Escuela dominical de dibujo para artesanos").
