Tashkent Islamic Institute uppkallat efter Imam Bukhari ( uzb. Imom Buxoriy nomli Toshkent islom instituti / Imom Bukhoriy nomli Toshkent islom institute) är en högre andlig utbildningsinstitution i Tasjkent. Det var den enda högre islamiska utbildningsinstitutionen i Sovjetunionen.
27 de out. de 2023 · The Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam Bukhari opened on 1 October 1971. At one time, it was the only higher Islamic educational institution in the entire USSR. Today the institute is located on the territory of Khazrati Imam architectural complex and spiritual monument.
16 de jun. de 2017 · Until now, Uzbekistan had two Islamic universities -- Tashkent Islamic University (TIU) and the Imam Bukhari Tashkent Islamic Institute -- and nine specialised Islamic high schools. On June 7, the government designated the Mir-i-Arab Madrassa in Bukhara a "higher [university-level] madrassa", raising the number of Islamic universities in Uzbekistan to three.
The Tashkent Islamic Institute, named after Imam Al Bukhari, is an educational institution, the only one of its kind in the former USSR, dedicated to Islamic studies. Its curriculum is focused on Islamic theology and Arabic language. Almost all muftis on the post-Soviet territory have graduated from here.
