C'è da dire però che Surf's Up punta parecchio anche sull' immediatezza d'uso. Bastano infatti pochi minuti per eseguire "trick" complessi e padroneggiare il gioco. Dal punto di vista grafico Surf's Up - I re Delle Onde non lascia nulla al caso: le animazioni sono fluide, l'acqua ha un aspetto realistico e parecchi effetti speciali fanno di ogni uscita in mare un'occasione spettacolare.
