Hannah Albertine. January 14, 2022. Balthazar is always a scene. Like a one-martini-and-peep-toe-heel-away-from-Samantha-Jones scene. You’ll run into plenty of regulars, like the teacher posted up at the bar at 8pm downing a decaf cappuccino and a scoop of vanilla ice cream who told us Balthazar serves the city’s best whipped cream.
You should probably dine at Balthazar at least once in your life, because it's Balthazar. We happened to come as the restaurant is having a bit of a moment - you know what I'm talking about if you're reading in the fall of 2022 - but it was a pretty standard brunchy experience for us.
