The viewer sees, among other sights, an underground ocean, dinosaurs, gorgeous cavern rocks, and the lost city of Atlantis. James Mason, with his suave urbane sense of self and polished diction, is the perfect choice as Professor Lindenbrook. Pat Boone proves that his acting is not far behind his singing.
