I'm going about 2k rpm in OD at about 55-60. When I give it gas, the rpms go up but the truck doesn't move much faster, like its slipping.

The transmission had been overhauled recently and the customer’s complaint was a cycling TCC, or what he described as a lockup surge. A scan check of the vehicle found no codes.

  6. You can see in Joh's answer that he addressed this as well. His opinion is that it is connected to torque management relative to the 1-2 shift. Next spring I will test that theory. Note that this ONLY applies to Allison 1000M used in motorhomes. Allison 1000s in other applications may not operate this way.
