29 de set. de 2022 · Aldovia, a fictitious country located somewhere in Old Europe, is the true centerpiece of the film. A Christmas Prince primarily takes place in the royal castle of Aldovia. The castle, seen in all three movies, is filmed in Peleş Castle, a real castle in Sinaia, Romania. Most other scenes were also filmed in Romania.

Of course, Aldovia isn’t real, but the trilogy was filmed in a real castle in Sinaia, Romania. Built in the 1860s by Romania’s King Carol I, the fairytale home was built in Neo-Renaissance style, and has 160 rooms, each with its own theme and design.
Enredo. 27 de nov. de 2020 · The castle was turned into a museum in 1953, but then closed down from 1975 to 1990. Nowadays, it belongs to the former Romanian royal family once again. But you can still visit and book a guided tour. The film also boasts some other rather impressive locations, including New York City's Riviera Cafe and Sports Bar - although this is now closed.
