macOS (tidligere OS X [2] og Mac OS X [3]) er en serie operativsystemer utviklet av Apple for selskapets Macintosh -maskiner, først PowerPC -baserte, senere Intel x86- baserte. macOS etterfulgte det opprinnelige Macintosh operativsystemet Mac OS.
