  1. The West tower survives from the early chapel on this site, the sole survivor from a time when it served as a chapel of ease of Bradford. The chapel was rebuilt 1655. Otherwise the church is entierly a rebuilding of T. H & F. Healey in 1879-80. A landmark in a Bronte tourist destination Pennine village with a high visitor attendence all year round.

  2. The church dates from the 11th century, but the majority of the fabric is from the 13th century with the tower dating from the early 14th century. The north porch is dated 1661.
