3 de mai. de 2024 · In southeast England, the Sussex obstetrician and amateur geologist, Gideon Mantell (1833), of Iguanodon fame, first described chalky head (coombe rock) in the dry valleys of the South Downs but attributed the deposit to the dominant paradigm of the time, the biblical flood.
