11 de jan. de 2024 · Robert Burns died on July 21, 1796, at the young age of 37 in Dumfries. His passing was preceded by a period of poor health which caused him to age prematurely. It is possible that Burns' health was impacted by a long-standing rheumatic heart condition which may have coupled with a bacterial infection caused by a tooth abscess.
