Willa Sibert Cather, född 7 december 1873 i Gore nära Winchester i Virginia, död 24 april 1947 i New York i New York, var en amerikansk författare . Willa Cather kom vid nio års ålder till Nebraska, där hennes far slog sig ned som nybyggare. En stor del av nybyggarna bestod av skandinaver, med vilka hon växte upp.
Willa Cather naît le 7 décembre 1873. Elle est baptisée « Wilella », un nom qu'elle abrégera ensuite en Willa 1.
